Highway Superintendent Lou Lamont is a lifelong resident of Claverack and has served with the Highway Department since 1985. He was appointed Deputy Highway Superintendent in 1996, and became Highway Superintendent in 1999 - a position he has held ever since.
Lou's 36 years of experience with the Highway Department is simply unmatched. He is known countywide for his suburb skill and dedication, meticulously overseeing the maintenance of 69 miles of Claverack town roadways.
